The series was funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program, Government of Canada, and sponsored by Base31. This episode explores the life and times of George McMullen, a Boston railroad entrepreneur who worked for Scottish-Canadian shipping magnate Sir Hugh Allan. McMullen brought his family to Picton and purcahsed the Ross house on Main Street, Picton.
